Our corporate wellness program brings exercise classes, cooking
demonstrations and educational workshops to companies, schools,
medical centers, government agencies, and religious institutions.
Our annual Living Life Limitlessly retreats are open to all. And we
offer training and certification to wellness professionals.
Aerobics, Yoga & More™
Aerobics, Yoga & More started in Baltimore, Maryland in February
1998 and was originally named Lifelines Fitness Consulting LLC.
Althea Lawton-Thompson, a certified fitness trainer and instructor,
founded the company to bring exercise classes and fun health
education to companies and medical centers throughout Maryland.
Through AYM, she created wellness and fitness programs for Sinai
Hospital’s obstetric department, Johns Hopkins’ pediatric clinic,
Wellbridge’s cardio rehabilitation department, and 13 Kaiser
Permanente medical offices. Althea has produced six exercise
videos, published two books, and released a guided meditation
album. Her books, videos, and album have been heralded
internationally and topped multiple bestseller lists. She has been a
tv show, a radio personality, and the fitness reporter for an NBC-
affiliate network. Althea has been highlighted in several newspapers
and magazines including Mantra Yoga + Health, Essence, Oxygen,
Elephant Journal, Yogapose.com and Arianna Huffington’s Thrive
Global.

2. In 2005, Althea relocated the business from Baltimore to Atlanta
and officially changed the name of the company to Aerobics, Yoga &
More. AYM business associate, Yvonne Carroll, also relocated from
Maryland to Atlanta, and together Althea & Yvonne opened and ran
a 3-studio fitness facility in an Atlanta suburb. Sadly, in 2012,
Yvonne lost a 2-year battle with Leukemia and Althea closed the
physical location. Today, the energy, fun, and fitness partnerships
Althea and Yvonne created live on through the AYM Corporate
Wellness program, annual AYM/Living Life Limitlessly fitness
retreats, and instructor trainings.
AYM has a roster of certified, insured and trained Yoga, Pilates,
meditation, Reiki and fitness instructors. Additionally, the company
has degreed and licensed nutritionists, doctors and nurses available
for health education, medical testing, and cooking demonstrations.
The company’s client list includes PNC, Publicis, Cigna Insurance,
Heidelberg USA, United Way, Oglethorpe Power, Gwinnett County
Public Schools, and the DeKalb County Board of Health. Annual
retreats have been held in Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, South Africa, Las
Vegas, Bali, the Georgia mountains, Turks & Caicos, the Grand
Canyon, the Dominican Republic, and the Bahamas.
Living Life Limitlessly University is the educational arm of AYM
Fitness. In-person and virtual online workshops, teacher training,
and certifications are available year-round
