Rob Semaan, co-founder of fig., the former body-
shaping company, believes in the importance of
self-esteem. Created in 2005, the goal of fig. (an
abbreviation of “figure”) was to motivate clients to
achieve the desired body shape through the use
of minimally invasive medical technology.
At the peak of its operation, the company
operated fifteen treatment centers in eight major
cities in the United States. It employed 500
individuals including 200 medical professionals.
3. Services Offered
The staff at the company worked with patients to
select the best treatment options for their body
types and personal shape challenges.
In addition to minimally invasive medical
procedures, fig.’s treatment options offered a
personalized body management program
including nutrition, food counseling, and branded
food products.
