Selmer Hanson grew up in Southern Alberta,
Canada. He received a quality education and
graduated from high school in British Columbia.
After leaving high school, Selmer transitioned to a
college in Alberta, where he remained focused on
his education. After successfully completing his
degree program, Selmer traveled to Florida, where
he attended graduate school. Always diligent and
focused, Selmer graduated with a Master of
Science degree in Educational Administration;
using the lessons learned and knowledge gained
throughout his career.
4. Work Experience
Selmer Hanson has extensive experience in a
number of different fields. He has held numerous
prominent positions throughout his career. Along
with being a college professor and administrator
for 20-years, Selmer has held positions as a
financial services consultant, project and account
manager, staff development manager, business
consultant, and Executive Director for a not-for-
profit organization. Each position providing him
with new experiences and knowledge that he
utilizes as a leadership coach today. He is
dedicated to helping individuals assess their
strengths and finding ways to use those strengths
to create a purposeful meaning in their life.
5. Hobbies
Selmer Hanson has lived a full life. Along with his
dedication to helping others through difficult
transitions, he also travels to Mexico and India to
help those in poverty. He provides them with
leadership training and healthcare, and finds the
work highly satisfying. He also participates in a
large variety of hobbies including reading, music,
stamp collecting, praying and meditating, and
spending time with his family.
