- 2. Character: BLAKE Blakeis the main protagonist in our film. The character is a very hard-working mother, who is in the spotlight of society with her famous title. She lives everyday trying to protect her daughter from the media. A huge scandal has been leaked as her life turns upside down. Continuing to try give her daughter a normal life and protect her she makes serious decisions. The character comes across as serious and hard hearted but behind closed doors she is protective and loving and is deeply effected by her job. The picture on the left shows what we vision our character of Blake to look like. This character looks wealthy and confident. We chose Leila Saville to play the role as we thought she fit the role quite well.
- 3. Character: HENRY Henry willnot be a main character in our opening, however, is apart of the spotlight and life of Blake He is a protective, professional character, who is the bodyguard to Blake. Although he doesn’t have a main speaking roll he sets the mise-en-scene quite well as it shows the importance and status of Blake We chose Ross Harri Williams to play the part of Henry. I chose Ryan Reynolds specifically from the Hitman's Bodyguard as a resemblance because I think the suit and style of the hair is sophisticated and sets the character of a bodyguard well.
- 4. Character: ZOEY We neededa young character to play the role of Blake daughter. She will be one of the main characters, with one of the main focuses to be to escape her daughter from the world. This character fits the stereotype of a young girl in a movie who will be dressed in her pajamas, holding a teddy and being read a bedtime story. She is a sweet, innocent young figure who doesn’t see her mother the way everyone else does. We see a softer side of Blake when she is with her daughter, this means that this character is extremely important. We have casted Zoey Wilkinson as the role of the young girl as she is sweet and innocent and fits the age of the character perfectly. We needed someone who would be comfortable in front of the camera. We thought Dakota Fanning as a young actress looks the most like our actress Zoey.
