1. THE SOCIETY AND THE STERIOTYPES…
Unfortunately in the world there are many stereotypes, but the bad is not the
quantity of them, the problem is that among they there are a constant
¨FIGHT¨ or a type of discrimination as in our country.
The people who live in Colombia before being Colombians, they are ¨pastusos,
paisas, costeños, etc…¨and it creates something like a struggle, a division
among the people, and I believe that it should not be as at the moment is…
I think if we change our thought, we can change the actual situation about
violence because the most of quantity of violence is produced by our thinking,
our ignorance.
We have to learn that everyone is different and have different ideas and we
have to respect them, we have to learn that all people in the world can do
everything they want, regardless that person is, black, German, Italian,
Colombian, etc…
I believe if the situation continues we will have many problems in the future,
because we will not the patient to endure for example other government
discriminate us for being Colombians, or vice versa.
Other idea is the culture of each country should be defended because we
cannot forget where we are; we have to preserve our background and the
other people should respect that ideas, that tradition, and not discriminate
for who you are, or for what you did… you are what you are now not what you
were.
