This talented singer is taking Denver by storm! Just back from a tour in
New York including a gig at The Bitter End, Ayo is a regular at Denver’s
Dazzle nightclub. Her lively jazz band will back Ayo as she gets our party
guests tapping their feet and moving with the beat of R&B, Soul and Jazz
tunes that we all know and a few that may become new favorites.
Ayo Awosika
The sounds of Sade, Fela Kuti, Diana Ross, Patti LaBelle, Barbara
Streisand, Marvin Gaye and Aretha Franklin tickled the earbuds of Ayo
Awosika as she grew up. She has soaked in the jazz history of Ella Fitzger-
ald, Billie Holiday, and Carmen McCrae, absorbed the songwriting
knowledge of Joni Mitchell and Lizz Wright and carved a niche for herself
