platforms. Eg: Walt Disney’s Disney+
• Streaming rights for flagship shows like the
Friends, the Office are being taken back by
the production companies and being added
to their own streaming platforms
• Netflix lacks in flagship shows compared to
other production companies. So, users may
change streaming service where they find
more flagship shows.

THE WEBSITE
• The website is very responsive as it does not show any lag
• The mobile website is also similar as the main website
• The Netflix website directly shows the content on the first
page and all the content can be accessed from a single page
• The user interface is very good as it involves more tapping
and swiping rather than typing
• The user experience is very advanced as it uses AI and ML to
provide personalized suggestions based on the consumption
behavior

• The decision was right as the mobile app
environment was more stable and UX was
smoother than website’s
• Increases the homing costs
• Notification alerts about new shows and
recommendations
• Application offers offline viewing and
downloads
• Also provides smart downloads where the
next episode starts downloading while
watching current episode
