Doug McDermott stood out, averaging 18.8 points per game while shooting 48.8% from the field, earning him a spot on the All-NBA Summer League first team. Bobby Portis also performed well, averaging 14.5 points and 8.7 rebounds per game, with a 25 point, 15 rebound game against the Phoenix Suns. Bulls coach Fred Hoiberg praised Portis' ability to score inside and outside.
