A breif presentation describing the working criteria of the Clinico Application

1. Clinico is a cross platform web application which has a
primary moto to increase the interaction between
doctors and patients ; mainly build on php and java
script as front end and sql as the backend , these are
the technologies it takes if you want to use these
libraries. To better understand the working and what’s
about to come in the alpha version , follow up with this
presentation

2. Idea behind the application
 Here , we have tried our best to pull an application out of the box which will
improve the interaction between doctors and patients as Patients are able to
analyse their symptoms and get brief idea about the health issues they might
have;
both the doctor and the patient will be receiving real time instant sms alerts.
 We have used very sharp algorithm which helped us to manage time,
 In this app a query is generated by server, it ask for symptoms which patient
might feel then analyses those inputs to generates all possible diseases the
patient might have, he then has the option to directly fix an appointment
with the doctor ,
 A feature to directly IM the doctor will also be integrated in the application in
the beta version surely.

4. What’s the future
 The matter of fact is that what we are trying to create is trending . Our
algorithms here in the initial state might not be excellent but to resolve such
issues , we would be using various API’s in future versions of this application
 We are planning to integrate the Google Health API which is still in the
development state and would contain world class information related to the
subject.
 Many newer features such as online report submissions , online tests booking
are about to be included in the beta version.
 The developers can add their code in the application by sending us pull
requests on git and we will surely try to look into your ideas.

5. What we will be including in the β
 We are going to integrate the API Medic Symptom to Disease Api which is
trusted by the doctors and organizations worldwide.
 Some would be supporting that the leading IBM’s Watson API is capable of
doing such things which we are going to integrate in our application but here
in the field of Medical science , no risks can be taken so we are using a WHO
certified API which has nothing new to learn and has been trained in every
possible way for any medical situation .
 Based on previous usage , the internet suggests IBM Watson takes about 5
hours to master a subject which includes 15 million medical papers which
would again take a lot of months for verification whereas API MEDIC is already
verified programming interface.
 As a developer it is necessary here to use the beauty of Watson here ; in the
beta we would be using instant messaging option for solutions for small
problems and by the time of testing , we would do our best to teach Watson
what it takes and verify all the records and then we will be integrating a
chatbot in our applicationfor easy and hassle free ongoing process.

6. Requirements for our application
 Any Server with support of php v5.4 and above and mysql is capable of
running this application. The sql dump is also present in the
repository.
 The supporting platforms for this application are
1. Php Server (v 5.4 and above)
2 .Apache/Engine X Server
3.Mysql database Server

7. About what time the beta will be ready
 As all of our team members are currently working on other projects also , it is very
difficult for us to dedicate whole of our time to Clinico , hence we would require
a minimum time of a month for a working prototype with all our beta features as
discussed in previous slide.
