About
Roy Wiseman joined the Region of Peel in 1975 and became Director, Information and Technology and Services in 1986. He was named as the Region’s first Chief Information Officer (CIO) in 2003 and retired from the Region in 2011. Since retirement, Roy continues to be active as Executive Director for the Municipal Information Systems Association (MIS/ASIM Canada), as a member of the Board of Directors for the Institute for Citizen Centred Service, and in various other committees and activities related to municipal and public sector IT and service delivery Roy has a BA philosophy from the University of Toronto and a Masters in Public Administration from York University.
