The Opening Ceremony of the Rugby World Cup 2011 was held in Auckland, New Zealand on September 9th. It included cultural dances, music, fireworks and stories of rugby and New Zealand. Watching together with others from around the world created an amazing atmosphere. Another highlight was the All Blacks winning the final against France. It was a very close game but New Zealand achieved the victory. Watching matches with family was also highlighted as a special moment, allowing sharing of laughs and excitement together over the great sport.

Ceremony of the RWC 2011 was
absolutely amazing. The ceremony
included cultural dances; music,
Sweet Victory! fireworks, festive celebrations and
stories of Rugby and New Zealand.
The fact that the whole union (as
well as other countries) joined
A HUGE highlight of the RWC was together to watch the spectacular
the All Blacks winning the Rugby performance made an overpowering
World Cup itself! The All atmosphere.

It was a VERY nerve- The Welsh
wracking game, but we

the Welsh, although they were
red carded and playing with
only 14 men as apposed to 15,

moments. I hope that could play rugby after being called to play for the All Blacks, hence
everyone had the chance to playing in the RWC. This was very inspirational for me as Aaron,
suffering from a cancer in his mid teens, continued to play great

rugby. He started playing for Manawatu, moved up till he got to play
their family. for the Chiefs, then he was representing NZ and playing for the All
Blacks. He has definitely shown NZ (and the rest of the world) what
he is really made of.
