The Dodge Charger was first introduced as a concept car in 1964 and then as a production model in 1966. Notable Charger models include the 273 introduced in 1965, the 1969 Daytona which had aerodynamic modifications to become one of the fastest muscle cars, and the 2015 SRT Hellcat with over 700 horsepower. The Charger has been in production for various years between 1966 and 1978 and from 2006 to the present.
