General Notes
We contract on our Terms of Business.
The vast majority of our surveys complete within 3-5 days of receiving your
appointment.
The rates quoted assume we are provided with free and unfettered access to the site
at our convenience. The rates quoted are based entirely on the information you
supplied/we request. We reserve the right to vary our fees in accordance with our
terms of business.
All of our survey and consulting deliverables are released by e-mail only for speed
and environmental sensitivity.
All aspects of this proposal are inclusive of reasonable expenses and travel, but
exclusive of value added tax (currently 17.5%).

General Bat Inspection [also called; Daytime Scoping Survey]
Arbtech are supplied with a topographical survey/plan depicting the extent of the site.
Surveyor to conduct a scoping survey of the building (exterior and interior walls, roof covering,
wall plates, gables, eaves, fascias, guttering, windows, window casements, doors and door
frames and roof voids if accessible) for evidence of suitable habitat and signs of
occupancy/animals in residence.
Surveyor or report author will be a Natural England licensed holder of a UK Science
Conservation Licence.

Two (2) surveyors to visit the property on two (2) occasions, approximately one (1) week
apart, between dusk and dawn to survey for bats and bat activity.
Emergence survey.
Dawn swarm survey.
At least one surveyor will be a Natural England licenced bat handler and holder of a UK
Science Conservation Licence.

Environmental Assessment (Contaminated Land)
Phase I Desk Study: including site visit and procurement of Records Data
A site visit to establish the overall nature and extent of the site and assist with the preparation
of the conceptual model.
A full Geo-Insight and Enviro-Insight Report.
A Mining Report (if appropriate).
The preparation of a Conceptual Model of the site indicating potential contamination sources,
pathway and receptors.
Preparation of an overall report indicating the findings from those items above and providing
recommendations for the nature and extent of any investigative works which appear
necessary following consideration of the initial conceptual model.
Discussions with Local Authority Contamination Officer, Environment Agency and
Environmental Health Officer where necessary.
Production of a Phase 1 report will provide most of the information required to provide a
quotation for any Phase II works should there be any necessary.
