Sub.: Establishment of Research Group (Pool)’ for Promotion of Research in the
University.

I. It is to notify in reference to above that with a view to promoting Research in the
University, it has been decided to create a Research Group (Pool) consisting of
faculty members of the University who are actively involved in the research. The
following will be the members of the Research Group:

II. The following will be the functions of the Research Group:
(1) To prepare strategic research Plan of SGVU for 2025.
(2) To interact with other Institutional research groups.
(3) To regularly organize seminars/ activities on in-house research activities.
(4) To bring out research leaflets/ news-letters.
(5) To keep records of all Research activities at University level.
(6) To facilitate other faculty members to write research papers/ projects/
proposals.
(7) To create funds for Research Projects
(8) To fix targets for Schools/ Departments.
(9) To prepare the budget for research.
(10) To Prepare Consultancy manual.
