This time is all about taking practical action and taking your dreams and goals to the next level. By now, The Paradigm of Success should be deeply ingrained in you and you are on your way to having the right set of habits, thanks to Simpleology.
I'd like to start first by bringing up one of the three things why you do what you do in life, as discussed in the first presentation. If you recall, in your childhood days in school, whenever you were taking any test, whether it be Math or English, Science perhaps... or even a diagnostic test to gauge your level of learning... your teacher most likely advised you to finish the easiest questions first.
Answer those items that you already know and leave the rest of the hard ones in the end. This is to save time and ensure that you already get some points to start with. Now again, there's nothing wrong with that strategy... if it's in school.
It becomes an issue though when you graduate and you face real life issues and you still conform to that strategy, because you were taught that way and you were used to it.
It is said that highly successful people do the hardest things first at the start of the day. The things that average people would not want to do or choose to postpone to a later date. Probably because they're uncomfortable with it or they don't know how to do it. But remember, if whatever that step or task that they're supposed to do is aligned with their dreams and goals, it should already be a big enough reason for them to dive in head first and as Nike said, just do it!
That is not the case with most people and our goal here is not to make you average. In fact, in this context... consider average as your enemy. If you want to excel in life, you have to aim for nothing but the best... even if it means doing something that is hard or new to you.
Something that is new and hard to accept for most people is that we are already making the transition from the traditional age to the information age. This concept has a lot to do with achieving your goals in life, specifically your financial goals. It also has a lot to do with starting your own business. In the traditional age, people earned a living mostly from hard labor and the more physical skills and manpower you possessed, the greater chances you have of achieving financial success. In the information age, it is the exact opposite. People who have the most chances of achieving financial success are not necessarily the ones with mega manpower or physical skills; rather, they are the ones that have the most knowledge and are able to utilize the information they have learned to the fullest; thereby creating monetary rewards.
A prime example of which is learning how to harness the power of the internet. If you're not aware of it yet, a lot of people have already earned their fortunes doing internet or affiliate marketing, or putting up their own online store or business. These people are able to do it without much manpower (in fact, some just do it by themselves!) and are able to reap the rewards, mainly because they took the time and had the guts to study, learn and apply the information that they know would benefit them.
Now you might be asking, how does that apply to me if I don't want to become an internet marketer or an online entrepreneur? My passion is not just into that and I would like to achieve my goals and dreams in other ways.
My reply to that is you can, as long as you have it aligned to the information age. So for example, if you want to write a book, you don't just want to have it published offline. You'd also want to consider promoting and advertising it through the internet... probably having your own website, social media pages such as Facebook, Twitter, and Linkedin, and maybe even selling an electronic book (or ebook) version of it.
The same thing goes if you are into any profession or business. If you are self-employed such as a dentist, insurance or real estate agent, attorney, or an architect, who doesn't want to have an online presence as well, and be promoted in your local community? A lot of people today are using search engines such as Google and Yahoo, looking to have their needs and wants met. What if you could find ways to advertise yourself in the front page of these search engines at a minimal cost, or even for free? There are many more examples on how to increase your market and clients exponentially.
As a general guide, the things you need to have if you want to have a successful online presence are copywriting, graphics and design, technical support, and advertising and marketing. These are the building blocks of a good business model and because we are now in the information age, these things can be learned if you are willing to make time for it. As an alternative, if you have the extra capital, you can hire or outsource any or all of these building blocks to people who are experts in this field.

Let me end by saying that there are basically 4 types of people in this world. And they can be represented mathematically. Those that subtract energy from you. Those that add value to you. Those that divide relationships. And those that multiply your value. If you are a person with a burning desire to make a difference in your life, you want to make sure that you protect your energy on a daily basis and avoid people from the first and third group. Make sure you always associate yourself with people on the second group - those who add value to you... But even better, find people in the fourth group, those who are willing to multiply your value, as these are the people who can help you grow in all areas of your life.
Pinoy Business Club is not just the Ultimate Global Business Network, but is a community committed to multiplying your value.
