Introduction

-It is very important to teach the students "Wh-
questions“, and they are used for a variety of
                communicative purposes.

-I will explain what is "Wh-question", and what are the
                 most common Wh-words.
What is Wh- questions ?
Simply it’s a question in English introduced by a wh-
word, that requires information in answer, rather than
yes or no .

- Most common Wh- words are :

     : (to inquire about things)
     : (to inquire about times).
     : (to inquire about locations).
     : (to inquire about reasons)
: (to inquire about person or people).
     : (to inquire about manner)
The purpose of this activity is
to teach high school students
the common” Wh-questions “
words, and its uses.
Incorporating the activity in the lesson

   - First, I will explain the lesson with clear
examples, and using different ways to let the
   students understand the lesson and
   supporting with exercises.
   - I will Divide the class into two groups. Then I
will solve one question. After that
I will let them starting solving the rest of the
   exercises by them selves.
The Group with more correct answer wins.
When they finish I will check their answers
   with the class.
The benefits of the activity:
Classroom activities and games are a good way
to teach some basic grammar elements in a
new, exciting way that engages students and
makes them want to learn more. Since every
student learns differently, some may find that
more facts learned while playing may be
readily retained.
