I spoke to someone with the Red Cross
about hosting a blood drive. I had to
give them all of my information so it
could be sent to the representative for
my area.

March 15, 2012/ 3:00- about booking a blood drive.

Sandy and I had to discuss possible
dates, times, and locations and make
decisions in order to get the blood
drive booked.

Throughout these days I was

March 22, 2012/ 4:30- setting up appointments.

I spent about 30 minutes each day
contacting people, communicating
available time slots, and scheduling the
donors.

2. Activity:
March 25, 2012/ 1:30- Site inspection

Commentary:
My dad, Sandy, and I met at the church
so Sandy could confirm that the church
had enough room to host the drive
there.
Activity:
March 27, 2012/ 7:00- Chick-fil-A donation request

Commentary:
I went to Chick-fil-A to ask for coupons
to hand out to the donors on the day of
the drive. I had to fill out a request
form and contact the lady in charge. I
ended up getting coupons for a free
milkshake.
Activity:
March 31,2012/ 8:30- Blood drive

Commentary:
The blood drive was scheduled for
10:00am-3:00pm. Before the drive we
had to move stuff around the church
and set up the Red Cross equipment.
The blood drive ended running past
3:00. Afterwards, we had to take down
the equipment, load it up, move the
church’s stuff back, and clean up.

April 2, 2012/ 2:00- Putting scrapbook together, working
3:00 on final presentation
Commentary:
I began getting all of my pictures
together and starting on the scrapbook.
I also started working on my slideshow
presentation.
Activity:
April 4, 2012/ 1:30- Putting scrapbook together, final
2:30 presentation
Commentary:
I completed my scrapbook and added
final touches to my presentation.
