Celebrity-in-Chief The president wears many “hats”.  In recent years the president has added a new hat:  Celebrity-in-Chief”.  The proliferation of the presidential image on television, cable TV, and around the internet and on blogs makes him more accessible, closer to us, less mysterious, less special, and in a way the office has morphed into a pop culture icon.  -Michael A.
