7. Clariant Solu,ons’ Service Team
Ermete Vestri was formerly the COO of Lehman Brothers’ mortgage loan origina3on business,
Finance America, and President of Aegis Funding Corpora3on. As the Chief Opera3ng Officer, he
designed and implemented all func3onal opera3ng procedures including due diligence,
acquisi3ons, disposi3ons, secondary marke3ng, technology, underwri3ng and asset
management. Prior to joining Lehman Brothers, he served as the Chief Credit Officer of Long
Beach Mortgage. During his 12 year tenure, he served as Director of Underwri3ng, Director of
Customer Service and various other roles un3l being advanced to the Chief Credit Officer
responsibility. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administra3on from California State
University, Fullerton.
John Pumpelly was previously CFO of Ocwen Financial’s $200 million mortgage and collec3on
process outsourcer business where he turned around the seventh largest collec3ons firm in the
U.S. As the CFO, he managed all accoun3ng, financial repor3ng, treasury and corporate strategy
func3ons. Prior to Ocwen, John served as the Senior Vice President for Strategic Partnerships for
Protec3on One, Inc. and held various posi3ons within BellSouth Corpora3on and KPMG, LLC. John
holds a Master of Business Administra3on from the University of North Carolina and a BBA in
Accoun3ng from Texas A&M University. He is also a Cer3fied Public Accountant.
John Peacock was previously a start‐up and turnaround specialist for the $4 billion dollar hedge
fund Surge Capital, and has held senior level management posi3ons in Fortune 50 financial
ins3tu3ons, including Bank of America where he successfully penetrated new markets and built
and operated loan processing centers.
