For almost 4 years since I’ve known him, I had a change to observe his progress. In my
perspective, he always the one who is dare to take challenges and not afraid of faillures in
both academic enviroment and external activities. With regards to any problems he
encountered in lectures or with assignments, he would not hesitate to discuss his concerns
with me. Thus, he distinguishes himself by his critical and creative mindset when it
comes to doing dissertations in applied linguistics studying in the field of communication
and advertising. Beside my instruction, he always takes an active role in overcoming the
difficulties due to the novel nature of his research. A steady evidence for his best effort to
improve his academic background is his GPA, which is in the top 3% of his university
class. He also has an scientific article about the use of youth’s language in social media in
university’s scientific annals. Mr. Vu gives me an impression in his enthusiam lying in
