2. Dr. Henrique and Peter have presented multiple courses together since their
first meeting at the first Indian Lingual Convention in Delhi 2013, where they
were part of the team that presented the 2 days pre and 2 day post congress
courses.
Their first “DE-Mystifying Lingual” course was held in Chiang Mai, Feb 2105,
which had at least 30% of the participants starting to do Lingual cases shortly
afterwards.
Since they have presented courses in Vietnam, India and Greece (ESLO post
congress course).
They share the same basic philosophy regarding Lingual lab work, although
they do have different techniques, so they interact very well with supporting
arguments.
Dr. Henrique Valdetaro is a long time Lingual Orthodontics practitioner in Brazil,
starting his studies in 1999 with Dr Fillion and then studying under Dr. Pablo
Eschari to learn all aspects including the lab work.
He is passionate about his work and want’s to finish all of his cases as perfect
as possible, whilst at the same giving stability to the final results.
He is the founder of the group “Neo-Lingual” on Facebook, co-author of 3
books and the author of numerous articles regarding lingual and mini implants.
Also the founder of the ABOL, he runs a 12 month course in Lingual
Orthodontics (clinical and lab) for Dr’s in South America.
He is an active member of ESLO and does regular presentations around the
world.
4. Peter who is originally from the UK, has worked in Dental technology for 30 years,
through many labs until having his own in Nottingham and then being a partner in
France. He helped build the biggest export lab in Thailand as technical Director,
where he worked since 1998.
He started his Lingual studies under Dr. Fillion also back in 2004, when he
completed 2 weeks training at the Paris lab doing the TARG technique. Within
months he had worked with engineers to modify the TARG and by 2005 created
the T.A.D and B.P.D. He returned for a further 2 weeks after spending a year
bonding cases for Dr. Fillion and his clients.
In 2010 he decided to join the Torque and Angulation Lab as majority partner and
take control of its direction. In 2012 he created two more instruments T.T.S and
B.P.I. which are the backbone of the IN-tendo technique…a Hybrid lab technique
developed by Peter at the Torque Lab since 2010. He has run many Lingual and
IDB lab courses all over the world and was recently a speaker and chairman at
the ESLO technicians meeting, getting 3rd place for his poster about anterior
torque.
Also the author and co-author of numerous articles and once had the cover of the
“Dental Technologies” magazine in 2002 for his work with flexible injected
materials. You can find more on his LinkedIn Profile.
