• The Victoria Seals
– Member of the Golden League of Baseball
– Established in Victoria in 2008, by the Parker Family
• past owners of AAA Cannons (Farm Team to Seattle Mariners)
and Current owners of the WHL’s Regina Pats)
– Seals will play 88 total games, (not including Playoffs). 44 games are
at Home (Royal Athletic Park ‐ Victoria).
– Stadium Seating capacity = 4,000
– Seals Owner/GM , Darren Parker was voted the GBL’s “Executive of
the Year” 2009
– Victoria Seals have sold 4 contracts in 3 Seasons to Major League
Baseball
– 6 Seals players were voted into the past 2 GBL All Star Games
– The Seals placed 2nd in League attendance in their inaugural Season,
and 3rd in 2010 (by less than 100 fans!)
• The Golden League of Baseball
– The GBL is an Established Professional Baseball League in
California, Nevada, Arizona, & Western Canada
– Over 120 players have had their Contracts purchased by MLB
Teams in the last 6 years.
– Boasts over 70 ex‐Major Leaguers' who have played & coached
in the League
– Entering into the 7th Season, over 2.5 Million fans have turned
the turnstiles in the GBL
– Teams from the Golden League are competitive at a “AA” MLB
Affiliate Level
– Total 10 teams including the recent expansion to Maui
