3. Electricity Production from coal
• Capacity : 3 Generating Unit, 2000 MW Electricity, 1.5 million customers
• Fuel Source – Coal used 21000 tonnes per day by plant it is taken from barge, rail, trucks

5. • Staker – 900 tonnes coal each hour
• 16 feeders
• 8 pulvarisers
• Pulvariser output 335 tonnes/hour puvarised coal
• Boiler – 1000 °C
• Turbine – 3600 rpm
• Generator Generates – 34481 Amp, 18000 Volts
• Stepup transformer – 345000 Volts then to sub- stations , poles, Step down transformer
• Finally reaches to homes

6. • Scrubber
• Flyash – Mechanical process used for Concrete, roads, roofing, granules, grounding
• SO2 mixed with limestone, water SLURRY IS FORMED 4000 tonnes (92% sulphur, 99%
pariticulate pollutants absorbs) and gas is given out by chimney
• Gypsum process
• Slurry produce Calcium sulphate 3 million gallons/day, it is forced with
oxidation with gypsum and dried
• It helps in producing dry wall and wall board then can be used for homes
• SCR System
• Gas also contains nitrogen oxide its reacted with ammonia
• Water vapour and Pure nitrogen is generated with 9 chemicals which 80% of element
we breathe
