Donnatello created many important sculptures between 1406-1455, including his Penitent Mary Magdalene from 1453-1455, Little Prophet from 1406-1410, Crucifix of the Holy Cross from 1408-1409, David in Marble from 1408-1409, St. John the Evangelist from 1408-1415, and St. George from 1415-1417. Some of his other notable works during this period include the St. Louis of Toulouse, Dancing Cupid, Shrine of St. Rossore, Sacrifice of Isaac, Beardless Prophet, and David.
