One of the greatest stories evertold by a grandpa, to his grandsons. This is one great story and should be always read.

1. Chapter 43A Jesus Crucifixion The soldiers took Jesus into the common hall and had him with a whole band of soldiers. They stripped him and put him on a robe. They put on his head a crown of thorns ; they put a reed in his right hand. They started shouting & mocking him , “ hail, hail the king (of Jews) of the Jews”. Then they s-- pit on him , took the r eed and smote on his head. They took his robe off and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him. As he carried the cross they found a man named Simon, who helped him carry the cross,,, when they got to a place called Golgotha, they gave him vinegar to drink , it was so bitter that Jesus could not drink it. What the earlier prophets had written was fulfilled, when the crucifixion took place. A sign was put over his head, “ THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS ”. There were 2 thieves hanging on the other crosses with Jesus , one of his right side and one on the left side . The people passed by shaking their heads, shouting out to him “ save thyself if you be the Son of God ” , ‘ come down from that cross’ . The high priests and council laughed & joked with each other saying he saved others but he can’t save himself. (Matt.27:27-42)
