EXAMPLES OF PAST ACTIVITIES
The Yamarna mapping and stratigraphic legend project is best described as a fully
integrated solid geology interpretation of a >26,000 km2 study area, covering the Archean
Yamarna, Dorothy Hills and Mount Venn greenstone belts, far eastern Yilgarn Craton.
Significant gold resources have been identified by GOR at Gruyere, Central Bore, Attila
and Alaric that combine for a total of greater 6.7 Moz Au.
The six-month multi-consultant study included a detailed review of the available data,
geochemical analysis, litho-structural interpretation of magnetic and gravity data and
significant field component that included targeted site visits and the review and logging of
several 1,000 m of diamond drill core.
The resulting geological map and stratigraphic legend forms the basis for all current
targeting and exploration efforts by GOR in the Yamarna and Dorothy Hills belts.
The project also included a mentoring role as part of the diamond drill core logging
component of the project.
Gold Road Resources Ltd
(ASX:GOR)
Major geological framework and targeting study covering >46,000 km2 of the Granites-
Tanami orogen, a remote Paleoproterozoic terrane with a known endowment of >20 Moz
Au.
The three-month multi-consultant study, undertaken in close collaboration with ABU
staff, included a significant database QAQC component, creation of an updated, vetted
GIS, review of the available geochemical data, construction of an integrated regional solid
geology map, generation of new conceptual and targeting models, compilation of past
exploration activities and a detailed targeting study that delivered >65 exploration targets.
One of the key results of this study was an interpretation from seismic and gravity data of
the deeper crustal structural architecture (“thick-skinned” tectonic domain) and how it
may have interacted with that of the upper crust (“thin-skinned” tectonic domain) to control
the location of gold mineralisation within the Granites-Tanami orogen.
ABM Resources Ltd
(ASX:ABU)

EXAMPLES OF PAST ACTIVITIES
Geological framework and targeting study covering BGS’ Massigui and Dankassa gold
projects and wider Baoulé-Mossi Domain of Southern Mali, a >70,000 km2, a Birimian-age
(Paleoproterozoic) piece of crust with a known endowment >22 Moz Au.
The one-and-a-half-month multi-consultant study included database QAQC, detailed
reviews and compilations of the main gold deposits in southern Mali and adjacent parts of
Guinea, Côte d’Ivoire and Burkina Faso and the deformation history and mineralisation
events relating to the Birimian of southern Mali, generation of new conceptual ore deposit
and targeting models, compilation of exploration index maps and a detailed targeting study.
The targeting study identified 22 broad regional target zones in support of potential
project acquisition or generation of new projects and 68 geophysical, geochemical and
conceptual targets.
BGS recently announced plans to commence field work to evaluate the most highly ranked
targets as part of its 2018 exploration program.
Birimian Gold Ltd

EXAMPLES OF PAST ACTIVITIES
Major geological framework, prospectivity and targeting study covering PRU’s Edikan
Gold Mine Project in the Kumasi Basin, Ghana.
Our group identified >50 targets, including 10 high priority targets, that are now being field
checked and assessed for immediate follow-up, including drilling.
The study involved a compilation of all available geological, geochemical, geophysical and
drill data to develop a 3D lithostructural interpretation that was used to generate a
predictive model to identify the most prospective ground and provide a priority-
ranked list of targets.
The study also included database QAQC and a large geophysical component, including the
processing and filtering of new and legacy EM, IP, magnetic, gravity and radiometric data.
Perseus Mining Ltd
(ASX & TSX:PRU)
Tenement rationalisation study covering PGD’s extensive tenement portfolio (>3,500
km2) in the Deseado Massif, Argentina, also including a belt-wide target generation
component.
Our group completed a detailed appraisal of all previous exploration, reviewed and
interpreted the geology, structure and tectonics, and identified 30+ target areas with
potential for discovery of new, significant low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver systems
and resource development opportunities.
The targeting was supported by state of the art processing and filtering of gravity,
magnetic, radiometric and remote sensing data.
The study results and recommendations helped PGD’s exploration team to rationalise
their tenement portfolio and raise internal funds for team expansion and fast-
tracking discovery through evaluation and drill testing of high priority exploration targets
and acquisition of new, highly prospective ground.

10. Concept to Discovery 08
EXAMPLES OF PAST ACTIVITIES
Major near-mine to regional geological framework, targeting and prospectivity study
covering AKG’s Asankrangwa Gold Mine project and the entire Kumasi Basin, Ghana.
Traditional exploration targeting techniques were used in conjunction with GIS-driven
probabilistic modelling techniques for predicting gold potential.
Our group generated 25 high priority brown- and greenfields targets that are currently
systematically evaluated and tested by AKG.
Outcomes and recommendations helped AKG’s exploration team to secure a
significant internal budget for expanding the exploration team and fast-tracking
discovery through evaluation and drill testing of high priority exploration targets.
The study generated strong media coverage for our group and has resulted in AKG
commissioning follow-up work.
Major surficial calcrete-hosted uranium prospectivity and endowment study
commissioned by the United Nations’ International Atomic Energy Agency, covering the
entire desert region of Western Australia.
Our group developed a holistic, methodical, uranium mineral systems model for
assessing prospectivity, and novel tools for estimating undiscovered endowment.
Overall, the study delivered a universal best practice template designed to underpin
similar work elsewhere and support prospectivity and endowment studies by IAEA
member states globally.
The study also resulted in an IAEA TECDOC contribution (to be published in late 2018)
and a follow-up study of surficial calcrete-hosted uranium systems in Namibia.

AWARDS. Success in Global Exploration Crowdsourcing Challenges
3rd place: Integra Rush Challenge.
Team leader: Dr Oliver Kreuzer.
High-profile global crowdsourcing competition aimed at identifying exploration targets
with the potential for the next big gold discovery.
Participants were given access to six terabytes of historic data collected over 70 years
of mining and exploration at the globally significant, high-grade Sigma-Lamaque gold
mines, Abitibi Greenstone Belt, Quebec.
We generated and prioritised 25 in-mine, geophysical and conceptual exploration
targets by compiling and analysing all available (drilling, mining, geological and
geophysical) data in the context of our knowledge of similar gold systems worldwide.
Geophysical (in particular magnetic inversion) modelling played a major role in that this
work facilitated identification of possible unrecognized intrusive plugs (main gold hosts)
and structures controlling the location of gold mineralisation.
3rd place: Karelian Gold Rush Challenge.
Team leader: Dr Oliver Kreuzer.
Global crowdsourcing competition aimed at stimulating innovative and out-of-box
thinking applied to the identification of new exploration targets and geological models
capable of yielding a big gold discovery at Endomines’ Karelian Gold Line property.
Supplied data covered the entire Karelian Gold Line (c. 400 km2) and included a drill
hole database and geological, geochemical, geophysical and remote sensing data.
We developed a tailor-made targeting model, embarked upon advanced processing
and filtering of the geophysical and remote sensing data, and carried out prospectivity
modelling. The team then analysed all available data and results and generated 10
high-priority targets in the context of our knowledge of similar systems worldwide.
