1. Le General Hotel Paris Reviews ****
"A real find for Paris! I've stayed in
Paris quite a lot in everything from
little provincial two stars to the
Crillion. Le General was a pleasant
surprise. Bright, clean, modern and
trendy. The welcome was wonderful
and I was always greeted by a
smiling face whether dealing with
the owner, the receptionist, the
barman or the waitresses. My room
was spotless, the bed comfortable -
even for my 6'5" height, the shower
alwasys had plenty of hot water, all
the TV channels worked and the
free to use WiFi connection was a
bonus for my work."

4. "When in Paris with Farfetch a few weeks ago, we stayed in Hotel Le General, a
lovely little boutique hotel in the heart of Le Marais. Behind the unassuming
classic French exterior is a bright and cosy lobby with a great bar/breakfast
room. The bowls full of sweeties left on the bar was a great treat, if not a little
too tempting… My room overlooked a quiet little courtyard, which made it hard
to believe we were in central Paris. The rooms may look quite classic, but it’s all
about the little touches. From the juicy apples on the pillows, to the Nespresso
machine, the rubber duckie and more L’Occitane toiletries any person could
ever really use during their stay. Staff were lovely, breakfast went down a treat
(especially the buffet of vitamin supplements – that was a first), the bed was
heavenly soft and the great location combined with room rates from just €167
means this is a great hotel to stay in for a short break in Paris." alexloves.com
