As the Buddha went on expounding the Dhamma, more and more
people came flocking to Him, and the ascetics of other faiths found
their following to be dwindling. So they decided to ruin the reputation
of the Buddha. They instigated Cinca Manavika, a beautiful pupil of
theirs, and told her, 'If you have our interests at heart, please help us
and put the Buddha to shame.' She agreed to their plot.
随着佛陀继续说法，越来越多的人涌向他，而其他信仰的沙门发现他们
的追随者正在减少。 所以他们决定败坏佛陀的名声。 他们煽动他们的漂
亮学生 Cinca Manavika，并告诉她：“如果您关心我们的利益，请帮助

That same evening, she took some flowers and went in the direction
of the Jetavana monastery. When people asked her where she was
going, she replied, 'What is the use of you knowing where I am
going?' Then she would go to the place of the other ascetics near
the Jetavana monastery and would come back early in the morning
to make it appear as if she had spent the night at the Jetavana
monastery.
当天傍晚，她带了些花往只园寺的方向走去。 当人们问她要去哪里时，她回答
说：“你知道我要去哪里有什么用？” 然后她会去只园寺附近其他沙门的地方，并
在清晨回来，让她看起来好像在只园园过夜。

When asked, she would reply, 'I spent the night with the Buddha
at the monastery.' After three or four months had passed, she
wrapped some cloth around her stomach to make herself look
pregnant. Then, after nine months, she created the impression
of a woman in an advanced stage of pregnancy and she went to
the monastery to confront the Buddha.
当被问及时，她会回答说：“我在寺院与佛陀共度了一夜。” 过了三四个月
后，她在肚子上裹了一块布，让自己看起来怀孕了。 然后，九个月后，她
创造了一个怀孕后期的女人的印象，她去寺院面对佛陀。

The Buddha was then expounding the Dhamma to a
congregation of bhikkhus and laymen. Seeing Him
preaching she accused Him, 'O you big Samana! You
are clever to preach to others. I am now pregnant by
you, yet you do nothing for my confinement. You
only know how to enjoy Yourself!'
佛陀当时正在向一群比丘和居士讲解佛法。 看到他布道，她指责他：
‘你这个大沙门！ 你很聪明地向别人传教。 我现在怀了你，
你却不为我坐月子。 你只知道享乐！

The Buddha stopped preaching for a while and said
to her, 'Sister, only you and I know whether you are
speaking the truth or not,' and she replied, 'Yes, You
are right, how can others know what only You and I
have done?'
佛陀说了一会儿，对她说：“姐姐，你说的是不是真的，
只有你我知道。”她说：“是的，你是对的，别人怎么知
道只有你我 完成了？'

At that instant, Sakka Deva, king of the devas
became aware of the trouble taking place at the
Jetavana monastery. So he sent four of his devas in
the form of young rats, who got under her clothes
and bit off the strings that held the cloth
around her belly.
就在那一刻，天王释迦天王意识到了只园寺发生的麻烦。
于是他派出四只天神化身为小老鼠，它们钻到她的衣服下面，
咬断了系在她肚子上的布料的绳子。

Thus, her deception was uncovered, and many from the
crowd reprimanded her, 'O you wicked woman! Liar and
cheat! How dare you accuse our noble Teacher!' Fearing
for her safety, she ran from the monastery as fast as she
could. However, after some distance, the ground split and
Cinca Manavika was sucked into Avici Hell
for her evil kamma.
于是，她的诡计被识破了，群众中有许多人斥责她说：‘你这恶妇！ 骗
子和骗子！ 你竟敢指责我们尊贵的老师！ 由于担心自己的安全，她以
最快的速度跑出了寺院。 然而，过了一段距离后，大地裂开，金卡玛
纳维卡因她的恶业被吸入阿鼻地狱。

The next day, while the bhikkhus were talking about
Cinca Manavika, the Buddha told them 'Bhikkhus,
one who is not afraid to tell lies, and who does not
care what happens in the future existences, will not
hesitate to do any evil.'
第二天，当比丘们谈论 Cinca Manavika 时，佛陀告诉他们：
“比丘们，一个不怕说谎的人，一个不关心未来世发生的事情的人，
将毫不犹豫地去做任何恶事。”

The Buddha then revealed that Cinca Manavika in one of her past
existences was born as the chief consort to a King. She fell in love with the
King's son but the Prince did not reciprocate her love. So she conceived an
evil plan to harm him. She disfigured her body with her own hands.
Then she went to the King and falsely accused that his son had done this
to her when she refused his advances.
Without investigating, the King banished him from his kingdom.
When the King came to know of the true situation,
she was duly punished for her evil deeds.
佛陀随后透露，在她的前世之一，Cinca Manavika 出生为一位国王的主要妃
子。 她爱上了国王的儿子，但王子没有回报她的爱。 于是，她想出了一个害他
的恶计。 她用自己的双手毁容了自己的身体。然后她去找国王，并在她拒绝他
的求爱时诬告他的儿子对她做了这件事。国王没有调查，就将他驱逐出境。 国
王得知真相后，对她的恶行进行了应有的惩罚。

defilement, on that fool evil

Greed, anger, jealousy and hate are
unwholesome mental states that lead
to unwholesome speech and action.
Evil kamma
committed through the
mind, body and
speech results in
Dukkha or suffering.
Do not commit bad Kamma by lying, cheating,
deceit, slander, and using malicious / harsh and
abusive speech.
The vipaka or consequences have much Dukkha.
不要通过说谎、欺骗、欺骗、诽谤和使用恶意/
粗口和辱骂的语言来犯下恶业。
vipaka 或后果有很多痛苦。
贪、嗔、妒、恨是不善的心理状态
导致不善言行。
心、身所犯的恶业言
