The Zen master shares a story with a young traveler who is seeking the most important things to remember in life. Over five days, the master imparted lessons of gratitude, compassion, mindfulness, acceptance of impermanence, and love. These principles taught the traveler that finding meaning and fulfillment in life comes from embracing gratitude, compassion for others, living in the present, accepting change, and unconditional love.

acceptance that you
will find peace.”
