Tourism: 
The Neemrana Fort Palace is situated on a majestic plateau 
concealed in a horseshoe formation of the Aravalli ranges, 
considered the oldest fold mountains in the world. This picturesque 
site was chosen back in 1464 by Raja Rajdeo, a descendant of the 
Chauhans, who ruled from Ajmer and Delhi till 1192. Conveniently 
located just off the Delhi-Jaipur highway, Neemrana is Rajasthan’s 
closest palace to India’s capital, and India’s oldest heritage resort.

Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor is a mega infra-structure project of USD 90 billion with the financial & technical 
aids from Japan, covering an overall length of 1483 KMs between the political capital and the business capital of 
India, i.e. Delhi and Mumbai. Also, The important industrial area of Rajasthan - Neemrana, which is at the confluence 
of Delhi-Haryana and Rajasthan is being connected to the Railway network via the Delhi-Mumbai freight corridor.

Alwar to get cargo airport, bullet train 
Jaipur: Rajasthan’s first cargo airport and bullet train would debut in Alwar. The airport would come up in Neemrana 
on the Jaipur - Delhi highway. The high - speed train would be a shuttle service that would run between Delhi 
and Alwar at speed ranging between 160 and 180km per hour. Both projects have been lined up as part of an 
aerotropolis - a modern city modelled around airports to promote aviation intensive business - to facilitate exports 
and shipments along the Delhi-Mumbai Industrial Corridor passing through the state.

JAIPUR: Rajasthan has formally become part of the 
National Capital Region Transport Corporation 
(NCRTC) with the Union finance department 
approving an additional budget provision of Rs 
12.5 crore for construction of a high-speed corridor 
between Alwar and Delhi on September 10. 
The corporation is a separate body set up by the 
national capital region planning board (NCRPB) for 
speedy connectivity between the national capital 
and its satellites towns including Alwar. Four states - 
Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Delhi - are the 
stake holders in the project which has been started 
with an initial funding of Rs 100 crore. Each state has 
contributed 12.5 % while Railways has invested Rs 50 
crore.

Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) is a mega 
infrastructure project of USD 90 billion with the 
financial and technical aid from Japan, covering 
an overall length of 1483 Kms. between the 
political capital and the business capital of

signed in December 2006 between Vice 
Minister, Ministry of Economy, Trade and 
Industry (MET) of Government of Japan

- Behror investment region in North- 
Eastern Rajasthan, would be located within 
50km from the alignment of Dedicated

of golden Quadrilateral. Government of Rajasthan has set
