2. DISMISSAL PROCEDURE
LAST WEEK’S REFLECTIONS:
Last week’s new procedures seemed to be understood at ease and I think that part of the success was teaching them
little by little. This year we started CENTERS a week later and it worked out really well even though we thought it was
going to be impossible for them to wait this long to start playing in the House center, Bicycle center…etc.
Small group rotation is running smoothly, however we still need to review the number of activities we want to have
because the number of children in the classroom is affecting this period; small groups are becoming large groups and
the time spent with each group (3) is increasing as well. I am taking a little longer to work with each group.
