A Sexy Suntan
1. A Sexy Suntan
When I was a teen, many moons ago, I spent countless hours stretched out in my own bikini at high
noon attempting to tan my body so that I would seem better to the opposite gender. I can remember
slathering on a home made tanning oil made of baby oil and iodine (for it's brown shade) as we did
not have access to commercial preparations. I don't really understand where the idea of being
tanned became synonymous with being hot but I would think it came from the movies.
Today, together with the arrival of tanning salons, you can tan all year around and lots of individuals
do. If you are young you think you are going to live eternally and decide you'll worry about it after.
There are alternate, safer means to tan now. We now have a variety of self-tanners in the
marketplace and also though they're able to smell amusing and if you're not cautious, leave you
streaky, they are safe. You must put on a sunblock however, because even if you look tanned, you
are able to still burn. There are also tanning booths available for spray tanning that's quick, but
expensive. You stand in the booth while being sprayed together with the tanning solution and come
out looking as if you have just spent a week in Hawaii. The sole drawback for this is it doesn't last
long and must be reapplied regularly to keep the tan. This could accumulate quite fast, when it
comes to dollars.

All this being said, it's important to get some exposure to the sun's beams for health reasons. The
body makes vitamin D from sunlight and this vitamin was shown to prevent some cancers as well as
being needed for bone health. The important consideration to consider would be to limit your sun's
exposure involving the hours of ten and two o'clock and if you are out subsequently use a sunscreen
with a sun protection factor of at least fifteen. It's necessary to get some sunlight exposure with no
sunblock so the body can make vitamin D. Exposure to bright light has been demonstrated to
prevent depression in some people.
