Yoplait Dairy Crest's Weight Watchers from Heinz range is getting a new year revamp with updated
packaging and new flavours.
A tropical four pack, on shelf from mid January, contains new mango and guava, peach and
pineapple, nectarine and passion fruit, and pineapple, passion fruit and guava flavours.
New lemon and lime and orange and
nectarine flavours join the citrus pack, and
the summer fruit pack has improved
strawberry and lemon variants. The new
varieties "break the monotony of dieting",
according to product manager Christel
Delasson.
She added that YDC was aiming to
capitalise on renewed growth in the lower
fat chilled yogurts and desserts sector,
particularly in the key post-Christmas sales
period.
All packs are flashed with a bigger, more visible `fat free' label.
