This document contains a lesson plan for a third grade recycling unit. The unit will be taught over several weeks and focuses on identifying recyclable items, reusing or recycling items from home, and having students write and present about their recycling project. Materials needed for the lesson include various recyclable items, paper, and a letter to parents. The objectives are for students to name recyclable items, reuse or recycle items from home, and write and present about their project.
