Career profiles and individual development plans (IDPs) are important tools for Walgreens employees to showcase their skills and career aspirations. The document provides tips for developing strong career profiles, including updating them monthly and using the profile to tell your career story and prove your commitment to development. It also discusses key components of an effective IDP, such as listing short- and long-term goals, action steps to achieve those goals, and reflective comments on progress. Managers are encouraged to use formatting that highlights accomplishments and ties goals to Walgreens leadership behaviors.
