Dubai is a land of dreams and if you have been fortunate enough of owning a home in this region, then
you may want to rent it out. Mentioned below are a few renting tips for landlords in Dubai.

1. Be well versed with the local facts and figures - If you know the facts and figures of leasing in
your locality, it will help you make profits in the deal. That’s because you will know what the
standards are and accordingly you can rent out your house based on the industry norms.
2. Revamp your house in moderation - Whether you decide to rent out an empty or a fully
furnished house, it’s important that the changes you make are in moderation. The tenants who
would be occupying the house may or may not prefer the extra additions and décor. Moreover,
it will save your money for good.
3. Promote your advertisement in a proper way - Ensure that you promote the advertisement for
your house in all the well known places. Use enticing pictures for tenants to shortlist your home.
Make sure that the payment scheme is mentioned clearly on the ad or the poster you’ve made.
If you plan to advertise your house online then make sure it is advertised on relevant and safe
websites.
4. Select your tenants wisely - Ensure that the tenants who will occupy your home are well off
financially and have good habits. Tell them before hand about the pay structure and ensure that
they are comfortable with it. Any problems in this case should be solved upfront so as to evade
problems in the future. As soon as you start getting calls for your house, be wise and select the
right person as a tenant for your house.
5. Show your house to all potential tenants at the same time - Often, prospective tenants do not

group and help you make your decision quickly.
6. Be responsible - As the landlord, you need to inculcate a sense of responsibility within you. You
can’t just sit back and relax carelessly. You need to be aware of certain things about your
tenants from time to time to keep your house in good shape for the eons to come.
