awareness among the 8th
graders about the issues related to
child labour. Students have analysed from their own
perspective on the child labour. They have fostered a deeper
understanding on the existing scenario about the child labour its
causes, remedies measures to be taken and laws & acts.

world. To understand the agony of the child labour . Students have
performed the street play at Mohol. They do empathize the children those
who are engaged in the work.

Tea is an inevitable part in the morning of every individual’s
Sometime its fine to have tea in the home but while we have tea at
the canteen, we will find that mostly it is
served by the children, small ones. We look, observe and leave it as it
is and we forget. Don’t you think that these burdened children
should be educated? They should enjoy their childhood?????

Child Maid: Yes mam, but I am too hungry, I need to have something.

Recently we have celebrated 67th
Republic Day but still after 67 years of freedom the innocent
children of the country are victimized They are the victims of child labour. By keeping them away
from the education is just like killing them and their childhood.
Scene 3 Children working at construction site
Children working as a labour in the newly constructed buildings and due to some reason the
building collapse.

As you have seen that the constructors/builders are building the buildings by exploiting the
children. Why? Just to save some money…….
Even the landlords don’t mind even after observing everything they buy the flats and villas and
bungalows built on the sweat and blood of the small children.

Still after 67 years of freedom, you will find that children are begging in the trains, station,
temples, bus stop, etc. They are kept aloof from the education and the beauty of childhood.

So, let us all take an oath that we will participate directly or indirectly in the child labour and we
pledge that we will make our country free form the evil of child labour.
