Jesus describes himself using several metaphors - as the door, vine, bread of life, good shepherd, way, truth and life, light of the world, and resurrection. He states that those who believe in him will be saved, bear much fruit, never hunger or thirst, have eternal life, and will have the light and living water of God flow within them. In the end, Jesus is identified as the Son of God.
