In terms of behavior, it is important to note that wineries are not
bars, and many of them cater to families. In general, you should
avoid loud conversation and any kind of disruptive activity.You can
usually get away with wearing casual clothing, although many
people choose to dress up a bit with polo shirts for men and
dresses for women.You are out to taste wine, not to become
inebriated, so pace yourself by breaking up winery visits with
meals and other stops – and be sure to drink plenty of water
throughout the day. Most importantly, make sure you have a
designated driver to take you home.
