Memar magazine, promoter of the annual Memar Award, was established in 1376 (1987), with the aim of promoting architecture, urban design, construction and industry. The first Memar issue was published as a quarterly in 1377 (July, 1988) and since 1383 (2004) it has been published as a bimonthly. Memar magazine has been holding the Memar Award annually since 1380 (2001).
