2. I am a sophomore at the University of South
Dakota, obtaining my bachelors degree in
Elementary Education with Early Childhood
and a Minor in Spanish Education.
Being around children makes me happier
than anything else in the world.
I believe that family truly is everything,
without them I would be nowhere.
3. My 3 nephews and 1 niece.
Playing the piano.
Singing with my sister.
The smell of pine trees on a cool summer
evening, in the Black Hills.
Spending time with my family and friends.
Taking silly pictures.
Laughing until my cheeks are in a permanent
smile!
4. To become a professional, “highly qualified”
teacher.
To be a fluent Spanish speaker.
To start a creative program in a school to
encourage children to read.
5. Start a family.
Leave the country more than 3 times, to visit
unique and educational places.
Have a steady job in a district where I can
begin to develop my career to become a
highly respected teacher.
6. Back row: My oldest brother Jason and
my brother Brad.
Middle row: Me, my nephew Braxton,
older sister Deb, and my Mom.
Front row: My sister-in-law Suzanne,
niece Kyra, Nephews Bentley and
Kaelan, and sister-in-law Dalila.
My family is one of the
most important aspects of
my life. We have been
through a lot together
and I love them ALL very
much!
7. Karli and I graduated from the
Irene-Wakonda, a year apart. We
have known each other since we
were in Junior High, but some
how didn’t discover we were
destined to be best friends until
my Senior year of high school.
Completely unfortunate that it
took so long for us to find each
other, but nonetheless, no one
else could do her job! We have
endless amounts of jokes and
laugh continuously when we’re
together. Truly the perfect
combo!
8. A good laugh overcomes more difficulties and
dissipates more dark clouds than any other
one thing."
~ Laura Ingalls Wilder~
"If you don't like something change it. If you
can't change it, change your attitude. Don't
complain."
~Maya Angelou
