When to cut and why?

- Information
A new shot should always present some
new information to the viewer

- Motivation
There should always be a motivation for
making a transition away from a shot

- Composition
 180-degree rule
When you are filming a scene, An
imaginary line called the axis connects
the characters and by keeping the camera
on one side of this axis for every shot in
the scene, the first character will
always be frame right of the second
character, who is then always frame left
of the first. If the camera passes over
the axis, it is called crossing the line or
jumping the line.

 - Camera Angle
30 Degrees rule on the 180-degree

- Continuity
-Trying to make the editing invisible
  -Filmed with lots of different
  camera’s
  -Making things look live
