Marc van der Erve was born and educated in the Netherlands and holds a BSc in Applied Physics cum laude and a PhD in Sociology from Tilburg University. After an international career as corporate strategist in computer manufacturing, he became European partner in the management-consulting division of one of the world’s main accounting firms and, subsequently, independent boardroom consultant. He currently resides in South Africa and Europe. An author of eight books, he recently completed the first two books of a trilogy on our inevitably changing perception of both society and leadership.
