The document discusses the choices people make when facing difficulties in life. It uses the metaphor of two mountains - one smooth and easy to climb, and one rough - to represent different paths people take. While the smooth mountain looks attractive, the rough mountain builds character through challenges. The mountain climbing represents life's journey, and emphasizes that the choices made each day determine the future. Facing hard times is part of living purposefully for God rather than just pleasing people. The document encourages persevering through difficulties with faith.

My insipiration from God II
1. MY INSIPIRATION FROM GOD, PART II
Some recap from the Inspiration of God part I, I have often said if that if someone is succeeding
doesn’t mean you are failing; you measure your success by what God has called you to do. So
when you see those who are doing well rejoice with them! Be genuinely glad for them! Rather
than become or critical, look out for what you can learn from them! God’s time is the best in his
own time he makes everything beautiful as the songwriter wrote.
You were born to win, but to be a winner, you must plan to win, prepare to win, and expect to
win.
-Zig Ziglar. As the old saying goes “Winner never quit and quitters never win” Follow in the
footsteps of a winner. Don’t wake up at seventy-five years of age, sighing over what you should
have tried. Just do it, and be willing to fail and learn along the way. At least you will know you
gave it your best shot.
At the end of the day, whether you choose to go with it, flow with it, resist it, change it, or hide
from it, life goes on. If what you did today didn’t turn out as you hoped, tomorrow is a new
opportunity to do it differently, or to do nothing at all. What’s important is to realize that you
have a choice.
You can face tough times and win! Hallelujah! In life there are two mountains, the first mountain
is so smooth, oops! That impossible to climb, and the second mountain is very rough, mm!
Remember there are price for each mountain you opt to climb. WHICH ONE WOULD YOU
OPT TO CLIMB? I guess everyone would go in for the smooth mountain, yes I know there are
people who would go in for the smooth one……..yeah thinking it would be very smooth and
easy to climb. There is this adage that goes this way “there is nothing new under the sun”
which simply ecclesiastically means what has been will be again, what has been done is what
will be done (Ecclesiastes10) the choice you made yesterday, (the path you tread) today someone
somewhere has made it before and either it went well or not well for him or her. This brings
about the choices we make as individuals, “The Choices We Make Today Are What We
Become Tomorrow ”- Emmanuel Joojo Hanson, so be particular about the choices you make,
do not compromise on what you believe because you live by what you believe; is either you live
for something or fall for anything. There is just one truth, one God! That’s what I believe, what
about you?
You need a rough mountain to be able to climb it; though it may be very difficult to climb you
will climb it anyway because there is a price for you. The roughness of the mountain is your test,
so this where the choices we make comes, the path we tread, and the people we meet. And all
these factors would constitute if we would achieve this price. Let take this into consideration not
everyone that takes the rough mountain makes it or make it to the price ahead, some takes this
mountain because Dad, mum or even friends said so…that was not your choice, and this where
the people we meet along the line when climbing the mountain comes in. I cannot make a choice
for you neither can you make one for me, and that the world we living in today either Good or
Bad, God or Satan, Right or Wrong.
2. People always go in for the smooth mountain because it looks attractive and easy to climb, not
knowing what lies behind the mountain. Let me just tell you what transpires on the rough
mountain, there are shortcut to the mountain top; but that shortcut is not for all because you need
huge sum of money to use the shortcut making it difficult for everyone to use that path. (Elite
Path) Don’t forget those using these path (Shortcut) are climbing the same mountain for the
same price as an ordinary person going the normal path is. IS THAT’S LIFE!! NO THAT’S A
SHADOW, INSTEAD OF LIFE. People live the shadow and they mistakenly calling it life. I
believe living life is living life that pleases GOD, not that other way round that makes you
acceptable before men.
On that same mountain there are people who are climbing that mountain just because everyone is
climbing the smooth mountain and just a few people climbing the rough mountain, and there
other people who were climbing that mountain and realised they are lost, not welcomed, and that
not the mountain they predestined to climb so they quickly descend the smooth and join those
on the rough mountain, as soon they join those on the other mountain they feel at home! And
there other people who are climbing this mountain because Dad, mum, aunt, uncle, ask them to
climb it. (Tradition/ Custom), and there is this other people who are fascinated by the price or
outcome of climbing that mountain. And the last group are the people climbing it because of
fame, riches, money, and knowledge (Educational Heights PhDs, Masters, and Degrees)
Let see what transpires on the rough mountain; just few people climb the rough mountain,
because it doesn’t look attractive as the smooth mountain, and in life not “everything that glitters
is gold” so be careful of your choices, and the other reason is it difficult to climb.
On the rough mountain many transpires, on these rough mountain there is no shortcut to the
mountain top as the adage goes “THERE IS NO SHORTCUT TO HEAVEN” , it open to all
but just not everyone because there are standards and no compromising on this mountain .
(Merriam Webster dictionary defines standards as level of quality achievement, ideas about
morally correct and acceptable behaviour)
As days, months, and years pass by, there comes this people who exclaim when they see the
mountain (OH! How do I climb this mountain they lost hope no encouragement), there is this
other people who are partially aware of what lies behind the mountain and what the price is but
are not destined to climb this mountain, you will be wondering why? Because the person who
created this mountain knows from the beginning to the end, knows what will be, and what will
not. So don’t be deceived. (Ephesians 2:10 For we are God’s [own] handwork (His
workmanship, recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works
which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared
ahead of time], that we should walk in them living the good life which He prearranged and
made ready for us to live). These other people who are just giving a try to climb the mountain
and you can imagine what happens to them, they fall! These other people who are climbing this
mountain because dad, mum, aunt, uncle, is climbing it... (There is no personal experience).
Along the line you see someone (a love one, friend, relation, wife, son, and daughter) who were
climbing the mountain alongside with you; just vanishes (Disappears) and never comes back
again. (Death)
3. And there is these people who have being climbing this mountain for years: so you can imagine
the experiences they have, among this group there’re two group of people; those who see the
price and gets excited, lost focus and falls, and this other half who are almost to the top of the
mountain and gives up because they can’t go no more, why because they considered the physical
and natural evidences around them but suddenly someone appeared from nowhere and says let
me give you a helping hand, I promised to be on time but just hold on. That’s faith!! Faith
doesn’t mean that natural or physical circumstances won’t come. Faith means “I see the
circumstances alright, but I refuse to consider them; I refuse to let it dictate my life, destiny or
actions. Never let what you see, how you feel, or anything contrary to God’s word run your life.
God’s words are “yea and amen” (2 Corinthians 1:20); that means they are settled and
established. Your role is to believe them and give no place to doubt and unbelief.
The mountain depicts our pilgrim life here on earth, and our life will be worth it by the
choices we make day in, day out, the people we meet on life journey, our experiences, and
our stand we take things when things get tough. Though the promise my tarry, it shall
surely be fulfilled. For mighty is He who has promised you and he will perform it. Keep
trusting Him lone. May the Lord keep you and bless for reading.
I would like to use this medium to extend my condolence to the bereaved families for their loss
Dr and Mrs Myles Munroe. As Dr Myles once said “The greatest tragedy in life is not death,
but a life without a purpose”. May Their Soul Rest in Perfect Peace!
Your questions and comments/suggestions are invited!!! Thank you for your time and God bless
for reading…!!
