Consiste  en  comprar  productos manufacturados  o  ecológicamente correctos  (abrigos de piel sintética,  productos  con etiquetas  ecológicas  o  comprobar  que  el material  textil,  la tela,  no  tenga  sustancias  nocivas) CONSUMO ECOLOGICO
CONSUMO COMPULSIVO Las estadísticas demuestran que solo el 20% de la ropa que compramos, es el total utilizado, el otro 80% es archivado en el armario y se convierte en ropa de emergencia, por esto se habla de consumo compulsivo ya que compramos 80% mas de lo necesario.
LAS MODELOS En la alta costura  son  una de las causas  de  que los clientes consuman  ya  que  siempre  todo  les  queda  bien  (ese es su trabajo),  se  requiere  de  cierto  perfil de  persona  (delgadas, altas) aunque  gran  parte  de  la  transformación  es efectuada  en  los  entretelones  del  desfile.
LAS MARCAS Los nombres de las marcas mas famosas son imanes para los compradores que buscan calidad y aunque sus productos suelen ser de alto precio son un gran foco de consumismo .
