His interested broadly in the geography of cities, but his specialize in urban climatology and the urban heat island (UHI) effect. In this field, His research aims to improve the methods used to observe, report, and mitigate heat islands and their varied effects in tropical cities of Thailand. It is critical that national guidelines for experimental design, provision of climatic metadata, and communication of results are followed when measuring and documenting heat islands.
