2. Trafalgar Square*
In london there are interesting buildings,
statues and fountains*. People in London go
to Trafalgar Square to celebrate New Year
3. Buckingham Palace
Queen*Elizabeth 2 has got several homes,
but she lives in Buckingham Palace. In the
palace there are 775 rooms. Of this total 240
are bedrooms and 78 bathooms.
4. Big Ben
The palace of Westminster is the seat* of
the British Parliament. Big Ben is the name
of the bell. The hands of the clock are 2.7
and 4.3 metres, long!
5. St Paul`s Cathedral
The cathedral was built in the 1.600s. Its
large dome was inspired by the dome of
Saint Peter`s Basilica in Rome. Many
famous British people are buried* there.

There are many historic events relate to the
tower of London. The tower was a prison.
On the 14th century the Crown Jewels
started to be Kept in the tower and they are
still there today.
7. The Gherkin
This is a modern tower in London which was
opened only five year ago. Its has got forty
flowers and is the sixth tallest building in
London. In Barcelona a similar building was
opened a years later.
