2. WHERE DOES HE LIVE ??
Marc was born the 17th of february of 1993 in Cervera. Cervera is a small
town located in Catalunya near Barcelona. Now a days continues living
there and it has his own museum in the town centre.
3. MARC MARQUEZ
Now a days, Marc is 26 and he is a professional
Moto GP rider and he has won 8 world
championships in 3 different categories. 1 on
125cc ( moto3 ) another one on moto2 and six on
the best category , Moto GP.
IN 2013 ( his first year on Moto GP ) Marc won
the world championship and he became the
youngest rider winning it. It's also the youngest
one winning 6 world championships in the best
category.
4. WHEN HE WAS A CHILD...
Marc started riding bikes when he was 3 and he won the Catalunian
championships when he was only 7. In an interview Marquez said “ when I
was a child my parents didn’t let me play computer games, but he let me
ride on bike”
5. BROTHER
Marc has a little brother called Alex Marquez that also rides on bikes in the
category of Moto2. This year the 2 brothers became world championships in
different categories. Alex in Moto2 and Marc in MotoGP.
6. HIS ACCIDENTS
Motorbike races are very dangerous and it requires a lot of professionalism.
The minimum mistake you do, you will past from been on the bike to been
on the floor. Marquez had got a lot of dangerous situation.
