2. WHEN AND WHERE DO WE CELEBRATE IT?
● We celebrate it on the 24th and 25th of December.
● People always celebrate it on their homes.
3. 24th of December:
● On the 24th we usually go to the centre of our town and see Olentzero
and Mari Domingi passing with their donkey throwing sweets.
● Then we go home and we get together all the family to have a big
dinner.
● After that, we go home to sleep until Olentzero leaves the gifts in our
homes.
4. 25th of December:
● This day all the children wake up very early for opening the presents
that Olentzero has lived under our christmas trees.
● Some families have a familiar lunch. They reunite all the family and eat a
lot of food.
5. Special things we do:
● People always decore their houses with lots of lights and colourful
guirlands.
● The most famous decoration is the CHRISTMAS TREE.
