3. Horsepower
Thenthere is the horse power. Horse
power is how the U.S measures the
amount of weight an engine can carry and
move. For example if you were carrying
33,000 pounds one foot at a time for one
minute you would be equivalent to one
horse power.
4. Different kinds of engines
There are many different kinds of engines but
were just going to give you the main ones, a
very common engine you will see in race cars,
trucks, and vans is the V8. When they say V8
the meaning of the V is the shape of the engine,
the actual shape of the engine is just a V. When
they say 8 really it can be any number but V8 or
V6 is the most common of them, but really the
number is just the amount of cylinders, not all
the engines are just V engines there are straight
engines, also flat engines, and inline engines.
There are many kinds of engines but these are
the main ones.

Then there is liters.
Most cars just have
4.0 liter engines. The
liters in an engine are
just the amount of fuel
the cylinders take.
